You may wonder...

What is doxa, and what does it have to do with me?

Too often we witness Christians enter into positions of public influence for some to eventually suffer a recoverable or unrecoverable public fall in front of the masses. What often results is a negative reputation of their Christian identity, a misconception about God and Jesus Christ to the unlearned, and the sins serving as a reason nonbelievers use for not entering into covenant relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

This is what the glory of God has to do with you. We have the responsibility as Christians to live worthy of the calling to eternal life to which we were called - in private and in public. 2 Corinthians 3:18 speaks about Christians displaying the glory of God in Christ Jesus, which is displaying the character and ways of God as exhibited through Christ to and through believers. We do this by our character and daily lifestyle. This is the kind of glory that is described with that verse in scripture. We are to represent God and Jesus Christ well with our godly character everywhere we go, and in all we do.

God commissioned me to be a vessel for transformation to my brothers and sisters in Christ to whom I am assigned for their Christlike transformation. Through covenant fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father, life application Bible teachings and Bible study, and cultivating a safe and loving community where we can grow into mature sons and daughters of God, JMLKE Discipleship achieves transformation that positively impacts not only our life but the lives of others around us. Discipleship is vital to keep us from becoming lukewarm, reprobates and apostates - three spiritual conditions I speak about often since we are in a time where people have, and are falling away from God and Jesus Christ. This ministry is envisioned to continue to transform us throughout our lifetime, and to keep us abiding in Jesus.

Here is what you can expect

And what the Father expects from us

Transformation and Steadfastness

God and Jesus Christ are committed to transforming every believer into mature, Christlike sons and daughters with the strength & permanent commitment to abide in them. God has my surrender to do this through me in every way he wants.

Reading and Studying the Bible

Reading and studying the Bible is mandatory for this ministry. Not only are we expected to study the teachings and Bible study materials provided through this ministry, we are expected to read the Bible and study Bible topics that God wants us to individually study. This ministry does not function as a local church where we can listen to a sermon, go home, and do not study with God what we were taught from a pulpit. Since spiritual growth occurs through reading and studying the Bible in addition to daily fellowship with God and Jesus Christ, reading and studying the Bible is a must for this ministry.

Be and Remain Surrendered to our Father and our Lord

Believe it or not, every Christian signed up to live the crucified life. It is one of the requirements of our covenant with Jesus and with God. Therefore, they rightfully expect us to live the crucified life. The only way we can is by choosing daily to be and remain surrendered to them. We make the choice here, and we follow through with living surrendered and crucified.

No Watered-Down Teachings Full of Error

You can expect to receive teachings and Bible study materials that will not be watered down and full of error from beginning to end. I have committed myself to reading and studying the Bible with God teaching me with humility and childlike trust in him. In turn, I provide teachings and Bible study materials to spiritually nourish and grow us.

No Idolatry, Inclusive of Idolizing Me

Every Christian knows that we are not to have any other god (idol) before God and Jesus Christ. Anything and anyone can become an idol, including leaders. Please do not idolize me. I will seek the Lord to close this ministry before I allow anyone to unrepentantly idolize me.

Accept our brothers and sisters in Christ no matter their ethnic and tribal background.

This ministry does not tolerate racism and tribalism. This ministry does not tolerate any divisive weapon that is found in the world we live in (i.e. sexism, ageism, etc.). But I point out racism and tribalism because it is most frequently used by the devil to divide and conquer nations. Racism and tribalism does not exist in the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, it should not exist in the body of Christ. Since we are one in Christ Jesus regardless of our ethnicity and tribe (Galatians 3:26-29), this ministry will display the oneness that will exist in the kingdom of heaven. All ethnicities and tribes are welcome here. If God has ordained you to partake in this ministry and you are not African American, then contact me. I cultivate an environment where racism and tribalism cannot thrive.

In Response to Common Scenarios

You have questions. I have answers.

I believe in God, but not Jesus Christ. However, I like Jesus's principles. Can I join?

Kindly, the answer is no. This ministry is for Christians only. Anyone who believes in God must believe in Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who said we can’t have the Father (God) without the Son (Jesus). If you don’t believe in Jesus, then you don’t believe in God either.

Can Catholics join?

As a former Catholic, I kindly say no. Contrary to popular belief amongst nonbelievers and some true Christians, which is Catholics are Christians, Catholicism is one of the many false christs that has arisen in the world, which makes Catholicism idolatry and Catholics idolaters that God and Jesus don’t know by covenant relationship. If it wasn’t idolatry, then God would not have led me out of Catholicism and into covenant relationship with Him and Jesus the way they established it to be.

What happens if I choose to no longer be part of the discipleship?

Please notify me of your decision for accountability purpose. I will give you my blessing. You will not have access to your account, but the teaching and study materials you received are yours to keep.
